“Solutions are always there, just hidden for a time beneath turmoil and stress”

About Me

I’m Jess, a Sheffield-based Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT). I hold the nationally accredited Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma – hypnotherapy’s Gold Standard – grounded in neuroscience and modern therapeutic techniques.

I’m a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH), fully insured with an enhanced DBS check. I maintain ongoing CPD training and hold additional qualifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness (TSM), to stay current with research and best practice.

Working in neurorehabilitation for several years has meant that I’ve have seen first-hand how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can support people to manage a wide range of symptoms. Giving them hope, confidence and increased resilience empowering them to move forward with greater ease and self-belief.

As someone who has lived with chronic pain, hypnotherapy has enabled me to find new ways to accept and support both my mind and body, leaving me pain free and able to live fully without the fear of pain.

My Approach

In our sessions, you’ll find a supportive, confidential space focused on what matters most to you. Together, we’ll shape each session around your goals, gently exploring what’s holding you back and building toward a stronger, more hopeful outlook.

Collaborative & Empowering

I take a warm, collaborative approach, focusing on your strengths and the small, meaningful steps that build confidence and resilience – so you feel capable and more in control of your thoughts and wellbeing.

Understanding What’s Happening

Part of our work together is making sense of things — why stress affects sleep, why pain feels the way it does, how your nervous system responds under pressure. Understanding this often brings a sense of relief in itself, and helps the rest of the work feel less overwhelming.

A Supportive Space

Every session is confidential and non-judgmental. You’ll be met with respect, empathy, and understanding, giving you room to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

At Your Own Pace

There’s no pressure to move faster than feels right for you. We go at whatever pace works, taking the time you need to feel ready before moving forward — and revisiting or adjusting as your needs change along the way.
